We get a lot of rainy weather in Charlotte and sometimes we all just need to get out of the house! As a Charlotte motherhood photographer, I get to spend a lot of time with my kiddos when I am not busy with sessions! I don’t know about your kids, but we can only watch so much tv and play so many games before everyone gets a little stir crazy! (Myself included!) Here are 4 indoor playgrounds around Charlotte that your child is sure to love!
Just Play | Best Indoor playgrounds in Charlotte NC
Just Play looks like a super fun indoor playground in Charlotte NC! Think old Chuck E Cheese playground surrounded with netting. The kiddos can create their own adventures climbing on structures, doing the ninja course, and playing interactive digital games. This location is totally designed with young kids in mind. It is family friendly- they have options for several different ages and their ticket prices are different for toddlers 2 and under, and 3 and over
What to know before you go— all children must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. (You can also sign this online to make your check in faster!) Socks are a must have! Bring your own or purchase them if you forgot! Admission is valid for two hours. They don’t allow foods or drinks from outside, but they do offer a snack bar with both!
Bounce U | Best indoor playgrounds in Charlotte NC
Is your little one obsessed with inflatables? This location is primarily a birthday rental place with tons of inflatable jumping and play options. They do offer several open play options during the week if you can plan ahead a little! Open play requires a reservation which you can do online. It’s ALL inflatable. Tons of bouncing fun and happy kids!
What to know before you go—There is a waiver that is required to be signed for all kiddos and they do require socks at their location as well. Parents also jump for free if you want to have some adventures with your kiddos!
Playland | Best indoor playgrounds in Charlotte NC
Playland is a local family owned indoor playground in Charlotte, NC. They offer families a year-round and affordable day of fun with an interactive space for both kids and adults to enjoy. This is a great place to let your kids burn off some energy while you enjoy delicious locally roasted coffee in our cafe - or join in on the fun! I can attest that their espresso drinks are super yummy, I have had them myself! Parents can play with their children, but it’s also a great chance to relax and read a little of your book or bring your laptop and catch up on some emails! When I take my kids, they disappear for an hour before they check back in for snacks. Outside food or drink are not encouraged, but they do have a cafe and snacks for the kids. If you’re there around lunch time, they do get pizza as well!
What to know before you go— there is a waiver required and socks are required as well. (They also have an option to purchase socks too) Each kiddo gets a sticker tag to match you so they can’t leave without you. They are located in Indian Trail. It’s a very cute location and you can host your parties there too. Also, they do have a facebook page- check it before you head over! Occasionally they get really busy with a bus full of kiddos and do reach max capacity.
